Default how would a leaky map sensor effect idle / drivability?

any input? car won't hold idle when warm and drives like **** (misses a lot around 2100rpms)
any idea? I'm going to put a new sensor on tonight, but if that doesn't work, I'm stumped.

sorry, I wasn't very specific heh, the car has a trex cam, and is tuned alright (need a new clutch before I can finish it up). the other map sensor wasn't in all the way, and when the tuner plugged it in, it ran fine for about an hour, then started running like crap again. I assume its the map sensor, but I've had Nothing but trouble with the damned thing as of recently (but at least it made good power lol).

could be a real bad vacuum leak. Chances are if its leaking the diaphram isn't moving and its reading no vacuum, the computer thinks your driving around WOT all the time.

well, I fixed part of my problem, I had a fat vaccum leak, so the car holds idle well, but now its missing reeeeally bad at anything other than idle rpms (even sounds more choppy than usual, so its probably missing there aswell). I replaced the map sensor and no dice, but the part that the map sensor plugs into on the back of the manifold seems loose, so I'm going to pull it tonight and see if that's the culprit.
