IAT Timing Tricker? HEY WAS WONDDERING IF THIS MOD IS WORTH DOING? I WAS THINKING THAT THIS MOD WOULD BE GOOD WHEN I GET MY JET HOT LT IN? FROM THE PAST 2 MONTHS IVE BEEN READING -FROM POST THAT WHEN INSTALLING LT'S UR CAR WILL RUN RICH SO I FIGURED ADVANCE TIMING WITH IAT Timing Tricker FROM INSTALL UNIVERSITY WOULD HELP. THANKS IN ADVANCED!

Re: IAT Timing Tricker? Timing Tricker is a resistor inserted in the IAT module. This was a very early Mod and did not work for most; including me. Resistor at Radio Shack is cheap. Try it if you want but I say "Pass".

Re: IAT Timing Tricker? Most of the time the timing tricker mod causes knock. If you want to do this, don't waste your money on a module. Just insert a 4.7k ohm resistor in place if the IAT sensor on the harness to the airbox. I recommend you TAP your car and watch for KR.

Re: IAT Timing Tricker? I don't know what those guys are talking about! Timing tricker works great. I'm using a 5.9K ohm on 91 octane in southern Calif. My Borla got twice as loud and horsepower-mileage went way up!! No knock. All that for 20 cents.
