Default Cross Ref Chart - vacuum to psi to kpa to bar

kpa still was not intuitive to me yet.

So I made up a chart showing the kpa equivalents for inches of vacuum and pounds of boost, to kpa. These I do know, and anybody with a vacuum/boost gauge will be familiar with those too.

Thought I'd share...

psi = -(vac) * .4192
kpa = psi * 6.895 + 100
bar = kpa / 100

Now those kpa rows in the various tuning tables mean something to me.

Here are the numbers for quick reference.

The spreadsheet is attached as a zip file, if you want to add finer rows.

Code:
Pressure Comparison Chart

20 	-8.4 	42 	0.42
15 	-6.3 	57 	0.57
10 	-4.2 	71 	0.71
5 	-2.1 	86 	0.86
0 	0 	100 	1.00

Aw! But everything is easier with Metric.

100 kPa Normal Pressure
0 kPa Space!

Nice chart!

Thanks!

It helped me to see that 30kpa and down is decel, 40-60 should be light-throttle, and 70+ is heavy throttle. Just to rough in the ranges...
