HP TUNERS for new injectors?
I need to tune my car for the new injectors I just bought and I was thinking of going with HPTUNERS PRO VERSION.
What else do I need to buy aside from the HP TUNERS program, and the Innovate Motorsports LM-1: Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter with LMA-2 RPM Converter to get this all going good??
Here is a list of my current mods:
1998-Trans-Am, A4 3:23 gears
PRC Stage 2.5 built heads With platnium Dual PRC springs
TSP R2 Cam 233/239 598.603 113lsa
Comp Upgraded Hydro Lifters
TSP Chromoly pushrods
Vigilante 3600 stall convertor
Pacesetter Long tube coated headers
True dual exhaust system with dual cutouts with flowmasters out the back with tips.
B&M race trans cooler (A big one) and gauge to monitor
Powerbond Underdrive Crank Pulley
Turnone Racing Power steering Pulley
17x9.5 275s front sumitomos, Rears M/T ET STREETS 255/50/16s
ARP Extended stronger Wheel studs on All 4 corners.
Spohn subframe connectors.
Spohn lower control arm brackets
Spohn Lower control arms with Poly bushings
BMR Shock Brace
Energy Suspension Torque Arm bushing
Trackbird Adj Panhard bar with Qa1 self lubircating bushings
SLP manual fan switch
160 degree performance Thermostat.
TSP ported performance Oil pump
LS2 Upgraded Timing Chain
LS6 Intake with new 28lb injectors (98% duty cycle)
TCI Transmisson Deep performance pan with cooling fins.
MSD Wires spark plug wires
Texas Speed Tuned ECU for all the mods.
Performance oil catch tank
K&N Air filter
Direct flow Air lid.
I just purchased Lucas 42lb injectors, a Racetronix 255 Intank Fuel Pump, BBK 80mm throttle body, and a Line Lock Kit, all which are being installed this coming weekend. I plan to nitrous (wet 100) the car as well.
My Best time so far, the ONE time I went to the track was:
Reaction Time: .017
60 Foot Time : 2.122
1/8 Mile Time : 8.389
1/8 Mile MPH : 89.646
1/4 Mile Time : 12.781
1/4 Mile MPH : 114.956 I was told this is low because I wasn't getting enough fuel due to the current 28lb injectors @ 98% duty cycle
