Default gear shifts with hypertech programmer help!!

i have a 1998 camaro z28 with 373 gears a 2600 stall converter and i have t hypertech programmer whats the best way to keep 1-2 2-3 3-4 gear shift mph + or - if so ho much or each gear and what does it actually do?thanks

This is something that you have to play with to suite your personal taste. I don't have your mods but I put mine at 1-2+6 2-3+9 and 3-4+8. It just depends on how agressive you want to be. Your stall is fairly tame so I would think that something close to what I have would do you just fine. The key is to make sure your not hitting the rev limit at WOT.

i was doing 3-6-9 with 3.42 and stock converter but i dropped it to 2-4-6 cause it seemed like reving my engine over like 6300 rpm wasnt gonna be good for it (according to a good number of members from this forum) also i was told anything past that and ur not producing alot of power i ran 3-6-9 for a few weeks and ran ran it like 10 times with no problem but im happy with 2-4-6 now but hypertech reccomended 3-6-9 to me

yea as of now i got 1-2 +2 2-3 +3 3-4 +2 what are your cars shifting at? thanks guys
