Laptop Hook Up

Is there any program you can get to hook your laptop up to in your car? So you can see different stats and play with the numbers. Does anyone understand what I am asking or know of anything like this?

HP Tuners and EFILive will give you full control or Autotap will let you just monitor whats going on.

Depends on what you want, both HP Tuners & EFILive will scan & even tune your vehicle(s), whereas autotap is ONLY a scanner.

Im interested in this too. Looking at autotap stuff, I can't tell if it lets you edit anything. It seems like a good setup.

anyone know if it will let you edit stuff?

EDIT: ^ I guess that answears my question.
