Default Question about VATS and installing remote start

I just recently put a 2 BAR SD OS on my car and I disabled the VATS. Since it's disabled do I still have to use a immobilizer bypass to have it to remote start or does it not reference the signal from you key anymore??

No you should not have to have a vats bypass since the computer is no longer looking for that signal to start
