Default Tranny cooked? Please read...

Hey everyone, installed my torque converter about 2 weeks ago, and today was driving around, and tranny won't shift into 3rd. 1st and 2nd is ok, but once 3rd hits, the revs just go higher and higher like the cars in Neutral. Does that definitely mean my tranny's cooked or is there something stuck that I can get unstuck? What do you guys think? THanks.

best bet would be to take it to a tranny shop and have it looked at....
