I've seen good tunes for $150 & i've seen good tunes for $800, it all depends on your tuner, not the cost.

are all tunes the same or is more of the kind of thing were you get what you pay for.. and what exactly do they do when they tune

Theres big name tuners that suck, and little guys that are pretty damn good, and everything in between. Do your research, ask alot of questions. Thats about all you can do.

I'd want to know exactly what their tune consisted of and I'd want to be certain they did not lock my pcm. If all you're going to get is a WOT Dyno Tune, you ain't getting much. All I can say is that since I've been messing around with my tune, it takes a good deal of time to to get the AF close to desired through the RPM range.
