Default Passenger side O2 sensor unplugged

I went to the track two weeks ago and was pretty disappointed, I ran consistant 12.1 @ 113 mph. I had just recently put on a set of 205 AFR's and expected more. I ordered hp tuners and was going to change my exhaust to try and break inot the 11's while working on my exhaust I noticed my passenger side o2 sensor thats in the header was not connected, the O2 extension was missing. Would this cause my car not to perform as well as it should. It seems to run fine, I was just wondering if this would cause a loss in performance.
