Default Idle tuning? lean spikes?

Ok, the first problem I have is the truck stalls, and surges at idle. It only does it when you first start it up, if your rolling in gear, and touch the gas and release it again it will stall. Also when you come to a stop it will do it sometimes too.

Next thing is, my LC1 wideband shows lean spikes all the time, is this normal? I've only used this lc1 on my rear mount turbo truck, and it worked fine way back behind the turbo. I have the sensor mounted inbetween the header collector, and the cat, on the left bank. I just reset, and recaled the Lc1 last night, and it still does it.

It's my buddy's truck, 2000 silverado 2wd, LQ4 6.0L, 220/224 525/529 114 LSA, Thorley headers

I fixed the links, I think

I took the wideband off that truck and put it back on my turbo truck, it works perfect on it, so there is nothing wrong with the WB.

I know that post O2 sensors always have a smoother reading. Thats how rear NB O2 sensors monitor convertor efficiency But it hard to tune when the WB jumps from 12:1 to 17:1 at wot

Sounds like you may have a bad plug or wire with the WB jumping that much. A few starting places on tuning the idle are adjusting the base running air flow, lowering the 400-1200 rpm rows of the VE tables, and increasing your base IAC. A lot of people say to run your base spark at 1200 rpm or below at around 28 degrees. This didn't seem to help me much though. Maybe that will get it closer. I am still fighting the cam in my truck and trying to get it to idle better.
