Default Crazy ASR light!

My asr light randomly comes on and goes off. If it comes on by itself i can't manually turn it off. My check engine light is on for tps but i was told that i just need to have the tune adjusted due to the 90mm throttle body. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do. I posted something similar like this before and didnt get any replies. Some help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mine was doing the same after the motor mods below before I tuned it and in the early stages of tuning. Now that my tune is pretty close it doesn't do it anymore. Not sure what causes it though.

Dont waste money on parts, they are just fine i promise. U need to go and edit your min and max on the P0121 code. Ur MAP sensor is recording more air coming into the motor that the TPS sensor is "allowing". Bigger cams, intakes (as in your case) will cause this light. Set the P0121 Error Max Map to 100 kpa and the P0121 Error Max Map to 0 kpa. Problem solved!

P.S.- Vaticano you have a different problem. Only refer to my post if u are throwing P0121 which im sure ur not.

Pull the BCM troublecodes. It should show something.

The TPS and ASR system go hand in hand. If there's a problem with the TPS, the PCM will automatically turn off the ASR because it will not function properly. Once you get the tune adjusted for the larger TB, this problem should go away.

EDIT: I'm the slowest typer in the world. 01'WS6 hit the nail on the head.
