Default buy a scan guage or not?

i have been thinking about buying a scan guage, something like the interceptor. i wasn't really sure if something like this was helpful or worthwhile. also, is there another brand/model that would be better?

by the way, i won't be tuning the car myself. i have been considering a wideband too just so i could put up a good air-fuel gauge. maybe i don't need this stuff since i won't tune the car but it would be nice being able to watch these parameters everytime i get into the car by glancing at the guages. or is this a total waste of money?

I think that is the coolest most helpful guage you can buy. I put one in my ex's GTP and it she would watch it to see how much knock retard she had and also she would put it on the coolant temp. It was helpful to see the drop in KR as we modified the car. She had up to 12 degrees of KR with 14lbs of boost. So we put headers and an intercooler and it had 0-1 degree. Its a helpful little guage I would recommend it to anybody.

The functionality and usefulness of the interceptor scangauges can't be beat. I normally hate digital gauges, but they offer too much capability to ignore.
