Default DTC code assistance.

I just completed my head and cam swap and overall the car runs really well.
I bought a pre-programed PCm from a tuner and it didn't work, I won't mention names as I haven't had a chance to talk to him to see what our options are? I put the stock PCM back in and it ran decent. I starting playing with my Diablo Predator and things got better. Before I go much further I wanted to ask a few questions from the gang here.

The car is running a Futral F14 cam (232/234 .600"/.600" 112LSA) with 61cc heads ported with 2.02" valves running through FLP lonf tubes, ORPs and then an SLP CME muffler. Oh, it 's an M6 car with 4.10s

Now the tune...or lack thereof. I bumped the idle up 150rpm and it seems to idle pretty well at just under 900rpm.

It was running pig rich so I leaned it out -20% 2k to 4k and-12% 4k to 7k. I also added 10% spark. It really ran better and I am getting 0 KR. I also live at almost 5,000ft above sea level so I'm working with thin air. Typically 12.4 PSI instead of 14.7 at sea level.

Within the Predator there are other programming features that I can't find in the book such as COT and a bunch of codes I can turn off. I want to shut off my rear O2s since I'm running ORPs, but I can't remember their code numbers, any help there would be great. Also, what is COT and what other functions are there in the modify perf tune on the Predator?

I plan on either buying HP Tuners or EFI live this summer, but I have to say the Predator does more than I thought it did, albeit not in the high resolution that the real tuning softwares can do.

I at least set my speedo for my 4.10s and the car is running pretty damned good. I know it has more to give up though.

Thanks in advance for anyhelp, you guys got me through this last week of heads, cam, headers, gears and bandaids. Fortunetly the bandaids were for my hands and not cheap fixes for bad mechanicing.

COT is Catalytic Over Temp protection...

if you still have CAT's then leave this on/enabled...

if you don't have CAT's anymore, then you can turn this off/disable it...

You really need to get a proper tune with a wideband - no way it should be that lean in the upper rpm band!! The low end would need leaned out with the cam, but you gotta be too lean with -12% off of stock in the 4 to 7k rpm range... The only way to know for sure is get a wideband on it!

True, but remember 12% in Predator language means about 2%. It's a percent of a percent. For example, 20% increase in timing is about 4 degrees advance.

A wideband is definetley needed thogh

And what about P0300 multiple misfires? Should I worry about it? Can I turn it off?

When it starts cold it misfires a bit...I'm talking 15 degrees air temp cold.

I want to get HP tuners or EFI Live and a good wideband setup, but it will be awhile. The car is running good for now and maybe I can get a dyno with wideband run in a few months. Until then I'll play around with the Predator and try and keep it safe. I'll enrichen the 4-7k band just to be safe.

OK, I programmed out the above rear O2 codes and put the 4-7k WOT mixture back to normal. She seems to be running awesome!!!
