Can you do a SD tune on a 98??
Can you do a SD tune on a 98?? I don't know much about doing a SD tune but if it can be done I would bring it to someone who does. I have a 408 making about 525 rwhp. I have a fast 90/90 but have not updated to a bigger maf yet. I'm looking at the TSP 100 maf or if there is any advantage to a SD tune. I was told me 98 ecm does not have the speed or enough tables to do an sd tune. Someone who is more experienced in this department give me some advice. What are the advantages or disadvantages of a SD tune? I want to do this right the first time. Thanks for any help.

You can do a SD or OLSD on a 98 car.It'ss not as easy or perfect as a 99 car but it can be done. I've got a 97 C5R 427ci with a blower running just fine with 16lbs of boost on a generic OLSD setup and has 2 years on it so far.
