did you cap off the air pump holes and egr holes? if not that could be the reason also.

i capped off only one hose and put high temp atv around it. Are ther more than one? That would be causing me a huge vaccum leak huh?

I would definitly spend a little time doing searches on here about both EFI Live and HP Tuners. They both are easy to use and both effectively do the same thing. Whichever one person decides to buy, they're convinced that it's the easiest and best with the best options. Go to both sites and see which is going to offer you the best extras for what you want to do.
