Default Software or Shop

I've gotten all of the simple mods out of the way with my 98 z28 and now I am looking to start adding things that work best with a tune. My question is, since the closest reputable tuning shop to me is about 2 hours and 20 minutes away and I plan on gradually adding LTs, an intake and throttle body, and Nitrous over an undetermined period of time would it be better to just buy my own tuning software such as HP tuners and learn to tune it myself?

by the time you tow your vehicle to the shop and chunk the change to get it tuned, you could have purchased your own tuning suite. Personally, I'd go with EFILive, but to each his own.

If you have any questions you can call us durring business hours and i can walk you thru some things..

We give you a free tune to set up for your mods with efilive. That way you get an idea of what needs to be tweeked in your tune for fine tuning it.
