I'm wanting to add some timing to my car and was wondering where do i do it in the EFI Live? There is a lot of stuff in there under "spark"

High, low, octane tables, and fuel mixture spark correction would be the main 3

My advice is go to EFIlives forums and do alot of reading. It's alot easier to make it worse than better. Once you get the hang of it it's a very good program.

It might be wise to log some engine cycles to see if you have any knock detected before you start adding spark.

A good basis is do not go over the optimal spark table. But you have to be carefull, the fuel mixture correction can add to much spark. Also, be sure to calm the burst knock tables as they will give you false tip in knock which kills throttle response.

Do you have a WB02? I would want to know what my afr is before I jump into timing with that blower.

Ok, sorry, didn't read that you had a blower on there. Forget what I said about the optimal timing table!!!! That would be a disaster. You will be able to go there with the part throttle stuff, as long as it is in the super low load range, but from there on, just watch the knock. The best way to do it would be to listen to the engine through a knock sensor. I can't remember what we used to do it with, but if you need, I can probably set one up.

What are the tables (numbers) you would need to change? I need to look at mine.

No, no wideband installed. I do have an LC-1 that came with the program but i have not had time to install it. It looks like a lot invalved to install it. I had the car dyno tuned and he set all of that stuff on the dyno. I just wanted to add a couple of degrees of timing and see how much time i could p/u. at the track. What would be the easiest way to add timing?

The table you need to change is B5913 but I would only change after you do some logging to see where you are. Also check knock retard. You could hurt the engine if you go higher.

I have done some loging and there was no knock retard p/u at all. I think the tuner did a really consertive tune on it. Thanks, that's what i was needing the # so i can go straight to it without any questions if i was in the right spot! Thanks,
