SES light comes and goes..

SES light comes and goes.. The SES light will come on for a few days, then go away for a few days, and then come back on again. The error codes are P0171 and P0174. I just changed the fuel filter and the light is still on. The next thing I plan on trying is cleaning the MAF. If there was a leak (vaccum, intake, etc..) would the SES light stay on the whole time? What if the o2 sensors are bad? Would the SES also be on the whole time?

I would look for an exhaust leak, or if you are modded with no exhaust leaks, I would look to your fueling commanded by the PCM.
