I had a 97 camaro and i traded it in can i re use my tuner on my friends 97? or is it only for one car

The HPP is vin locked. If you did not unlock it from your previous car, you are hosed. If you did unlock it, you can use it on your friends car, but it will then be vin locked on his car.
