Digital Maf?
I talked to them (him) @ PRI and that is the ultimate MAF, for sure. The application in our cars is a challenge due to the tables that we have to deal with. I suppose we could scale the tables if that could work out. In some cars the brains are in the MAF, not so here.
The new LS3 Hitachi MAF element is capable of measuring very high flow as it is headed for the blown LS9. As of now only the new 08 PCMs can utilize the 15000hz/1880g/s range. This sits in the LS3/LS7 100mm tube.
I have tried the on my car and the new element logs like it is interchangeable with the LS7 one and generates a nice smooth curve up to the 511g/s table max.
