2000 rpm idle

My tuner tells me this could only be a vacuum leak and I've been chasing every possible source of air/vacuum on the motor. So far, I haven't found the culprit.
When does yours have a high idle issue? Mine seems to be triggered by the AC being on.
Today I tore off the intake manifold to double check the vacuum ports on the rear of the manifold. Everything appears to be sealed up find and the small vacuum line holds vacuum when tested. The only other vacuum line back there is the brake booster and it is in tact. I have plugged off all of the vacuum ports on the front of the manifold thus eliminating them as the problem.
The only other possibility is air leaking through the rocker bolt threads and into the intake ports via the ported ceilings where the threads break through...this is a unlikely as the threads are sealed up with copious amounts of Loctite...some builders say this is fine, some say to use thread sealer. Even if this was the problem it wouldn't explain why it only happens under certain conditions. If there was enough of a vacuum leak to support 3,000 rom (which mine will sometimes do) through the threads it would always be present.
...well, good luck with your idle. I bought the EFILive scan tool per my tuner so I can track it down. Hopefully I'll find it before I take something apart and create more of a problem than I have!
