Bite the bullet and get Edit or hold out for tunercat???
So the word is that Tunercat will be out soon... (heard this before??) I have a cam that will require tuning and a torque converter sitting in my room ready to go in and it's driving me crazy. Right now my options are: put the cam in and pay someone to tune it, buy LS1 edit, put the cam in and tune what I can then pay someone to tune it a little later, hold out on the cam and see if Tunercat really will be out at the end of the month and buy some longtubes to hold my mod craves over for a bit. If the cam doesn't go in by the end of this month, it's probably not going in for a while. I feel like if I pay $500 for ONE professional tune, I'm missing out because I could pay $550 for Edit and have all the tuning abilities at my fingertips. Plus if I have some type of tuner, I can get rid of my HPP3, which I only used to reset the speedo for the gears. That will cut $175 or so back to me, which should pay for an hour of tuning on a dyno, and hopefully if I've done enough tuning myself already, then that's all I'll need. Anyways... How about some advice from the been there done that crowd???
