Re: Autotap and a PP3? Relax, take a deep breath. Autotap is a scanner- a tool to monitor your car's performance parameters, while running. HPP3 is a Programmer that you connect to the DLC or Data Link Connector under drivers dash that "Flashes," or writes/ changes certain information/ parameters in your car's PCM- or powertrain control module/ brain, computer. This is done with the car off and the key in the ignition in the "first," detent. Go their web site for more info on what it can and can't do. LS1 edit is also a programmer, in fact the grand daddy programmer to date that can control much much more. Do a search on LS1 PCM computers. This is just a start my friend.
Re: Autotap and a PP3? Yes but not at the very same time.Programmer to make changes with key in ignition at position right before you actually turn it over. After programing complete turn on car, scanner to monitor / see the results.
