LS1Edit software I have an old copy of this from a few years back.
Is there a new copy of the software availible that would work with the old LS1Edit cable that is locked to my car's PCM?

I think the software and cable are locked to each other. You can buy additional licenses directly from Carputing. I bought my cable with 4 licenses to future proof it.
I did have a PCM "fry" on me once, and they unlocked one of my licenses for a modest charge. Had to send the cable in, etc, but it was cheaper than starting over.

they also make serial and USB versions. I recently upgraded my license and got the Serial version by mistake... Took quite a bit of tech support to figure out why my USB cable wasn't working.
I don't know why you want a newer version, as pretty much all of the good stuff has been the same forever, but I think the newest is 1.54L
