Default Threw a Code, need help.

My car threw a code on the way home. I have the mods listed in sig. It seems that it is running just the slightest bit rough. I was told that it may be spraying oil into the throttle body and messing up the sensors. The idle sometimes hovers around 2K. Just need some help. The previous owner said that it did the same to him but went away. Any ideas?

Thanks

Took it out for a spin after cleaning the throttle body a little. SES light stayed on for a while then went off. There was a little oily residue around the blade of the throttle body. I cleaned it off and I guess all is well now.

What code did it set? If you do not know and do not own a scanner, bring it to a parts place like Autozone and they can scan it for you for free.

It threw it again so I took it to Autozone for a free scan. Turns out it is the front 02 sensor. I have heard that using the corvette 02 sensors are better, so I am thinking of doing that. I have rear 02 deletes, if that helps any.

you can also try taking off your idle air control valve and cleaning it, which might smooth things out for your high idle if that re-occurs.
