looking into a FAST setup i am looking into getting a fast xfi setup for my 98 camaro ls1 drag car looking for information on this product i know it is gonna cost a bit but looking for somone with some know how in this program pro/cons
xfi I have one in my daily driver right now. I was one of the first few to get one, and there was confusion about some of the wiring in the beginning. Overall, its not bad at all to hook up. Now i think they improved things with the xim box instead of using the edist and a crank decoder, which is what i have. What are you looking to know about the software? to me, who is a complete novice, I even thought it was pretty easy to deal with. seems like you can adjust for whatever needs adjusting. I was planning to build a tt427 for the car, which is why i wanted a good computer that could deal with it. instead, i still am running a stock motor and dont know when ill get around to building the new one. now they have some base tunes saved into the system, which they didnt have before. i like the fact that you could send someone your calibrations, and they could look at it and see if anything is off. i guess you could do that with a lot of these different systems too though.
