These things don't run off stock gm computers either. They use a very expensive Bosch engine management system that allows them to do a little more than we can.

well i know im gonna run a professional products intake ported matched to a set of 035 stage 3 heads they have the bigger valves but dont recall size
and a 90mm ported and polished throttle body

so i should be close to hp of what these cars made right??

so maybe i should consider a different cam or a custom grind but hydraulic not solid


i just wanna here a 106 lsa idle tho lol

That sounds like a really cool project. I'd like to do one of those short stroke LS7's like katech sells (346cid) with a cam in the 270ish duration. I definately think its tuneable

That cam sounds nasty....but so do a lot of others. It all depends on what you can tolerate. If you don't plan on road racing, then there are a lot of nasty sounding cams with better street manners. Like I said that cam will probably need to idle over 1200 rpm. That's not ideal for a street car.

As far as tuning goes...if you know what you are doing, you can tune just about anything. Me...I'm still learning.

To answer your initial question: yes the cam is tuneable.

well this class ran 3.905 bores

if i had the money to buy an ls7 block or bigger i would along with some cncd l92s

DPs are allowed up to 4" bore. L92s are budget heads. Lots of better options out there. The Tony prepped AFR 205s seem to be the most favorable (flow outstanding below .600).

I know a guy who put an LS7 cam in a 6.2L 4x4...sucker runs GOOD.

because i just stumbled upon the internals for a good price

and i think it would be cool

maybe even economicle lmfao

then i can spray **** tons of nitrous to it and make up for the missing cubes

Oh ok. That bottom end was made to fit rules for a light race car. Its in no way going to be optimum at all for what your doing.
