Default Car is acting funny...

Well, I cleaned my maf, and changed my plugs, and the damn problem still isn't fixed. Car has 110k on the clock, and sometimes ONLY sometimes does it idle below 950, at like 850 and it rumbles like it has a cam, mind you it has a stock cam in it. I had my o2's go bad, so I replaced both of those, and it fixed my gas mileage problem, but now the car idles a bit low sometimes, and sounds lopey. It also backfires a few times like 3 or 4 loud pops after WOT shifting, anybody have any ideas on what my problem is?

Has the PCM ever been tuned? What type of exhaust are you running?

IAC would be my first guess tho...

Check your plug wires, if there not fully connected to the coils, the wires must click twice in the coil if not they will cause a misfire,I had the same problem and took it back to the dealer and there were two plug wires not connected all the way, That when the car was new.

Idle Air Control (IAC)

Its located on the right (drivers) side of the TB. It often gets gooped up and starts to cause interesting problems like the ones you're describing. You can clean it using MAF cleaner and a rag, be sure to clean up the seat in the side of the throttle body too.

Give that a shot.

Idles better, just idling a little higher because im running seafoam through the gas. Anyway, still having some stutter problems at part throttle, and sometimes at WOT itll hesitate a bit, then the power will roll in, I replaced my fuel filter, cleaned my injectors, think its my damn fuel pump going?
