Default Too much timing for summer weather?

I'm pushing up to 31* at WOT @ around 4000-5000rpm

Think this is too much for a 100* summer?

what do you guys run?

31 deg @ 4k-5k, bet you thats gonna rattle some, thats peak torque where it is most prone to detonation.
I would dial it down a bit, or datalog and see what the spark and knock retard does.
Definitely would not run that timing for nitrous.

I've run a full bottle through it already...didn't see any knock when we logged it but it was on the low side of the bottle. It sees about 28* to redline after that.

I'll prolly dial it down though if that's the case. It's cold right now, so I'm worried when it'll get warm out that it'll cause issues.

Any suggestions on what to run?

Ideally you lower the timing at peak torque to prevent detonation then bring it back up after 5k.
When it gets warm out the IAT spark table will pull the necessary spark out for you unless you modified it as well, i personally do not mess too much with the iat spark on a gto.

I'll prolly go ahead and smooth it out and put my IAT tables back close to stock.

thanks again

31* is a wee bit high, but I've sprayed on that much timing in 80* weather without issues and sometimes with minor KR... what to do? Wait till it warms up and datalog it then

IAT tables will help, but unless its really hot you're not going to see that much change.
