Question High RPM Banging

I have a carbureted LS6 with the MSD LS1/LS6 ignition setup. Running a Turbo 400 with a 2800 stall, 3:42 gears, demon 825 cfm, .525/.525 cam, and have plenty of fuel psi. At about 5300 RPM's the engine starts banging?!?! Any advice...valves, ignition, gears, etc.??

It's probably the built in rev-limiter. I had that problem too. It seemed like the motor was just getting into it's powerband and then it would bang like that. Good luck.
