You can do it either way,
You can use the TCI trans control computer, but you can also use the BS3 w/GM trans. If you using the combo in your sig, its probally not a bad idea to use a standalone EFI system.
I do not have exact pricing infront of me, but the last one i sold and installed was ~$3000. This was for a ls1 based setup.
