Making the computer think the AIR & EGR is still there
Have a '99 Trans Am with removed AIR and EGR... with FLP long tubes and an LS6 Intake (cant put the EGR back on if I wanted to) I went and had it test smogged somewhere--they didnt care/notice the Long Tubes or the missing EGR... the only thing it failed was when they hooked up their OBD II Scanner. Is there a way I can rig a resister or something so the computer will no longer throw a code?
Cam goes in late tomorrow, and I will also be dyno tuning with LS1Edit--so they can delete the codes and solve the computer problem, but I will be running a TR 224-563-112, so I am not sure that it will pass California smog even with cats once that goes in?!
Thanks
