i went out today car started fine but when i got gas and went to start it but it wouldnt fire so i looked at all my lights and the security light was on. so i waited a few min and it turned off and the car started just fine like nothing happend. idk if this is common or sumthing to be worried about.

 

When the security light comes on it means it's not reading the resistance value in the key pelet. First thing to do is clean it if it looks dirty or try using another key. Lots of posts here on VATS, and how to diganose/bypass it if it keeps happening.
