P0118 is typicaly caused by a faulty engine coolant temp sensor (located on the drivers cyinder head in front of the exhaust manifold). Make sure the connector has good pin tension and that the pins are clean. The P0430 is usualy caused by a faulty catylatic coverter. This code can also be set by a malfuntioning rear HO2S. If I'm not mistaking, GM has a 8yr/80,000 mile warranty on cats. That might help if your car doesn't have more than 80k on it. Do you still have cats? O2 simulators?
