Need help getting new 383 LT1 to idle
Hey,
So I have started driving/breaking in my new 383. LOVE IT!
but
I am having a hard time getting the car to idle in gear. I adjusted my throttle idle screw all the way out. I then hooked up my wideband and noticed that it was running a little rich at idle to ~1000 rpm - so I went in and adjusted my VE tables in that range to compensate.
Now, the car is dialed at ~14:7:1 at 400-1000 idle.......but car still seems to stumble and want to die when I am sitting at a stop in gear at about 3--0500 rpm-----
I am using TunerCAT and can not find any idle control specific tables.
I did a search and found some stuff on drilling my TB plates....I don't want to do that.
What else do I need to adjust to get the car to idle in gear at a decent RPM?

Is your idle totally on the idle screw or is the screw backed out and you are totally on the IAC? You want some more both. More on the screw with a cammed car versus a stock one. When idling, how many steps is your IAC? (I am only assuming LT1's have similar IAC valves as LSx throttle bodies?) If not, sorry man.. I am an LS1 guy.
