Tune question IL, Ross O?
Tune question IL, Ross O? Several questions...
I am in need of a tune on my c5 with heads cam package. Its an ls1 hotcam with 5.3L heads. P/P. I also have added an ls6 intake,28lbs injectors, K&N filter, Shorty headers and exhaust, ported and descreened MAF, and ported and polished TB.
Changed gears to 3.42 and added a yank 2800 stall and rebuilt tranny. will need a bit of tuning as well for shift points and pressure.
One of my questions is, I did my porting and polishing of my maf sensor and my TB. I was told my MAF will need to be recalibrated and on my tb, I did a bump stop on it so the blade would open but not over extend. I was told i would need auto tap or a program to work that out. Is this true and will my tuner be able to do this?
I plan on having Ross Owens do my tune. I can't reach him at the moment though and plan on having this done very soon. I know he checks this forum so im hoping he will give me call.
