CL vs. OL questions
I have been messing with fine tuning and tweeking the idle still a little surging, etc.
I have noticed that upon startup it takes some time to enter CL, I know all the conditions have to be met and I understand they are the ECT, and that 02's need to swing from high to low and the VCM needs some constant readings from the 02's and not sure what else, but when it hits CL, it idles smoother and when driving the engine runs smoother, both it seems has less RPM swings.
This does not seem to be in line with what I read about having LT's and a cam, so I think I will stay in CL, is there anyway to get it in to CL sooner, the stock Zo6 tune has some lower Number for CL so I am going to try them.
This just does not make sense that this setup would like CL over OL and my VE is right on and my RAF is real close, BTW am usinf HPT and a AEM to tune,
does this point to something not being right?, or do some modded this much just prefer CL?
