Hi all, I have my 2K T/A here in Italy, and am in the process of fixing her up. My mods are:
k&N
85mm FTP Lid
85mm MAF
Ported SLP TB
LS6 intake manifold
2002 Z06 cam
Z06 Valvesprings
Jet-Hot LT headers
ORY
Magnaflow catback
AIR delete, EGR delete
Befor I left the states, I didn't have the time or money to get it dynotuned. Now, I have a little time and a less money and want a tune, as i think there are at least 30HP in mods waiting to be released by tuning. Since i'm in Italy, there is no one around who can do a dynotune. what is everyone's opinions about mail-order tunes? I have my eye on a specific place, PCMperformance who has a kit (CD, and OBDII cable) they will rent to you after they program a custom tune for you. Supposedly they send you the custom tune in an email for $100. You rent a programmer from them for $385, and use it on your laptop to flash your PCM with their tune. After you flash your PCM, return the programmer back to them for a $335 refund, so renting the programmer and the cost of the tune itself costs you $150. Does anyone know about this company, and what if so, what kind of feedback would you give them?

I've talked to Anthony (one of the owners of PCMPerformance) and watched him street tune an LS2 pretty fast. The car owner was ecstatic after he was finished. He seemed like a great guy. He lives about an hour away from me, and I plan on heading there to get my base tune straightened out when I'm done with my swap.

Yeah, it kinda sucks when your'e behind a stupid Fiat doing 30mph, and you can't pass him because the clutch slips so bad.
