I bought this because it is supposed to be rock solid. Well since my first hookup, I haven't been able to log in for more than a few seconds before the communications screen pops up and trys to reestablish connection. My car is a hybrid and so I thought it might be the fact that when I spliced in the DLC I combined pins 4 and 5 to the PCM ground. So, I fixed that yesterday by taking pin 4 to chassis ground and pin 5 to PCM ground as it should be. NO HELP!! So, for sanity check, I hooked it up to my 2001 Silverado and it does exactly the same thing. So, what is wrong?

Tell me what version of the product you have. It will tell you when you launch the program. Also, tell me if it the generic or enhanced version. I'll send you the fix.
