HELP! Lost communication with PCM while using edit!

HELP! Lost communication with PCM while using edit! Help!!! I lost communication while programming with edit! So i think i did something stupid-I disconnected and tried to start over. Nope car says reduced engine power after i turn the key. U can tell somethings up because i cannot even hear the fuel pump prime. I pulled the psm and the bcm and fuses and still nothing. Checked the DIC and the frist code is the pcm-no communication-what did I do!!! Did i just fry the computer! Help me please!!!!

Re: HELP! Lost communication with PCM while using edit! You at least got it good and confused!! The Vettes are a little more touchy than the F-bods with the communication to the other modules.
Give Ken a ring, he may be able to unscramble the PCM for ya!

Re: HELP! Lost communication with PCM while using edit! mine disconnected once on a car at like 45%... the box just died!!!!!!! We thought the PCM was toast and was about to yank it out. But we re hooked the edit back up and started again. We couldnt believe it but it started right at the 45% again and went on... we were very lucky!

I just plugged in my predator and figured maybe I would try to upload a tune from it. Well it couldn't communicate with the pc either so it asked me if i want to restore it? Well of course i said yes! Voila the stock tune is in and then i went and installed the modified edit une after. Right now i'm very happy I bought that predator!
