Locked Diablo tuner?
Locked Diablo tuner? Can these diablo predator tuners be unlocked? I bought one off ebay awhile back, and it ended up being vin locked. The guy said the tune was taken off his car and put back in the tuner. He gave me all my money back and said I could keep the tuner as he had no use for it anymore. So can I send it in or am I stuck with it doing nothing?
i went through the same thing not too long ago. to find out it if can be unlocked you have to go into the predators menu and go to options and see what tune was used last. if it says performance or diablo then it cannot be unlocked. if it says stock then you can send it to diablo and for 100 bux they will unlock it.
Locked Predator tuners for diesels can be unlocked, so I'll bet the gas models can also be unlocked. Join the forum in the link and contact the original poster. He can give you some very good info on this subject.
