Will I lose my custom tune?
I just swapped out my 10 bolt. I went from my 2.73 rear to a 3.42 rear. I had my car tuned by Speed Inc. last year for my nitrous and stall. Is it possible to use a Hypertech or similar programmer to change the speedo for the new gears without losing any of the settings from my custom tune? Thanks. BTW I do really like the new gears - much better acceleration and no more dead spots

A Predator can do this no problem.
Let me know if you have any specific questions as to how this is accomplished, but its real easy and will take you 5 minutes...no trip to a tuner, no laptop...no problem.
Thanks
Mike
EDIT: Just saw you have a 98...my bad.
We do not currently have support for the 98 PCM, but it is coming soon!

Well that is strange, I had a buddy with the same problem, went from 373 to 410 gears he had a predator, but had to get the car custom tune do to the solid roller 13.1 compression and race gas. When his gears got done we tried to change the setting after and it would not let us it wont connect. It will read the real time but wont let us change it anything. The pcm is unlock allso. We called the help line and was told you cant do it after a custom tune. But Im not bashing anything just courious on how this is done.
