Edit not working with SP4?

Edit not working with SP4? I read on carputing that edit is not working with win2k sp4. I had already installed this before I saw the anouncement. Sure enough I just tried to fire up edit and the program will not even come up. Anyone have information on a fix for this besides uninstalling sp4?

a shot - otherwise you can uninstall SP4 or wait for a fix from Ken (he is working on it - it's apparently a problem with one of the components he uses, and the vendor is working on a fix.

Re: Edit not working with SP4? Good luck getting MS to do anything about it without calling their product support line and paying fo a support incident. After you do this .. you will get a fix though.

Re: Edit not working with SP4? Thanks guys, I have delt with MS before and is not something I care to do. SP4 is made up of several hotfixes, didn't know if yall knew which one pertainted to the tool set edit uses.

Tried it, doesn't work. I posted earlier on the Edit mssg board asking Ken for an update.
