...command accessories on? For example, turn the AIR pump on.

I hate it when I post before I search.
Okay, so what I want is a bidirectional scan tool. Does anyone know of one that doesnt cost $1,000?

i believe EFI live will do this, but you need a laptop.

EFI Live Pro will give you full OBD-II bi-directional control.
