tried everything please help with security light!!! Ok here it goes...
ive had my 99 ss for about two years now. my buddy that had it before me had the dealer put a new body control module in. since ive owned the car its been a nightmare with security light! it will come on and car wont start. i have bypassed the resister pellet under the dash using the correct resistors. it is still hit or miss whether my car is going to start. i also heard that if your battery is not giving your computer enough voltage it can do that too so i replaced the battery. after i replaced the battery it started up fine 2 times when i tried the third it would not start. let it sit and the car started fine. i have no idea what else to try anyone with info please help!! if you need to ask more details pm me i will give you phone number if u need to ask anything else!
