416 L92 in LS1 Camaro, Runs Rough, No Power
OK guys, I just installed a 416 L92 in a 2001 Camaro. Basic tuning (IFR, idle, etc) is done, so it should run OK. Cam is a very mild 228/232 114.
It fired right up but threw a cam position sensor code. Reversing the A and C wires did nothing. I finally took off the timing cover and a 4X sprocket was installed. Last night I put in a 2005 LS2 2X sprocket, and the cam position sensor code disappeared. It still runs rough, very rich, lacks power and is throwing the P0300 misfire code. The misfire is definitely not from one cylinder. It seems random, as the motor wants to stumble and buck a little bit. I'm also getting P0327 and P0332 knock sensor codes.
I checked all the wiring again this morning and everything looks like it is plugged in to the right place. All the grounds are good as far as I can tell. I'm just about ready to throw in the towel. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this strange problem?
Thanks.

Update.
I finally figured out I had to do a CASE Relearn (crank position relearn procedure). I did this about an hour ago using HP Tuners. I wasn't real happy that I had to spin my brand new forged motor to 4000 RPM on a free rev, though the procedure did pretty much fix the problem. Now I am getting seemingly random codes. Now, I am thinking there may be a ground problem. Will post a follow up when I figure it out.
