EFI Live users: little comparison info needed
EFI Live users: little comparison info needed So I went ahead and installed a set of injectors I purchased a long while back, Accel 42# units is my recollection of what I bought. After installing them I fired up EFI Live and reduced the IFR by about 35% to compensate from the jump from 26# to 42# injectors, but no matter how much tweaking I do I can get the car to idle well at all, needed throttle just to keep it alive. Now I went back and started with the original tune and tweaked from 15% down to 35% again and still no luck, can't get the thing to idle well at all. I was hoping somebody esle could check the numbers for me and tell me what you're getting for IFR with a switch from 26# to 42# because this is driving me insane!

Ever get so frustrated with something that you just can't see the most obvious? That was the case! Thanks for the input, got it running, now just need to work on smoothing it out. I've got the strangest occurance here, everytime I start the car (cold or hot), the AFR will momentarily be normal at roughly 14.7-15.0 but after the first 5 or so seconds will immediatley jump to over 20 giving the car a very unhealty idle. This condition will last for appox. 1 min. before the car will "snap out of it" completley of it's own accord and the AFR immedaitley drop to normal levels. Now the map I'm currenty running is no more than my original map (before I swapped injectors) with the IFR recalibrated to approximate 42# levels. Anybody heard of anything like this before?
