ckp relearn question?
ckp relearn question? I am waiting for my EFI Live scan tool to come in . I keep getting the p1336 code and I have been reading on how the relearn process goes.
My question is this.
I keep seeing that it says in every relearn procedure to set the parking brake, and hold the foot brake. How important is this? I do not have a park brake anymore(race car) and I recently robbed the brake light switch from the car for another in the shop I needed at a last minute. I have since replaced the switch but I am curious what these 2 inputs do for this process ? Maybe its just a safety thing I dont know. Just wondering?

i have the same problem with my nova, i dont have a brake switch and gear selector switch since it is a conversion car. i have posted this question before but no one answered. someone help please.
