Will cleaning MAF help my problem? My truck started throwing codes. It started with P0101 then went with P0172 and P0175. I figure it's because my MAF wires are dirty because my truck sucks a lot of oil since the Procharger install. Will cleaning the wires help?

Re: Will cleaning MAF help my problem? P0101 is thrown when your MAF freq is 50% different from the air density system. If you have anything like a timing tricker or IAT mod, this would cause it. Also check your MAP sensor and TPS.
Air density is derived from IAT and MAP sensor inputs. The IAT sensor measures the air temp that is entering the engine. This signal works with the MAP sensor to determine air density. As the intake manifold pressure increases, the air density in the intake manifold also increases and additional fuel is required. The air density system is used in closed loop to monitor Mass Air Flow sensor operation to determine if there is a MAF sensor malfunction.
P0172 / 75 is a rich condition which would be a result from the P0101. Although; the PCM CAN’T throw a P0172 / 75 with a P0101. P0101 takes priority, as this will cause 100s of other SES’s.
